The perfect appetizer!
Fried Deviled Eggs
Ingredients
6 large eggs
frying oil of your choice
1/2 cup mayo
1 tbs dijon mustard
1 tbs finely chopped dill pickles
2 tsp Tony Chachere's original seasoning
1 cup flour
1 cup panko
1 jalapeno thinly sliced
Directions
Place eggs in boiling water (approximately 12-13 minutes). Place in ice water after for easier peeling.
While eggs cool, combine mayo, mustard, pickles, and seasoning into a bowl.
Peel eggs and cup in half. Remove yolks and place in bowl with ingredients listed above. Stir to combine.
Heat frying oil to medium high heat. Coat halved eggs in flour. Dredge in egg. Finally coat in panko.
Fry until golden brown. Remove and place on paper towel to drain grease.
Place filling in a ziplock baggie and cut the corner off. Squirt filling onto each fried egg.
Garnish with jalapeno slices. Enjoy!
