It may no longer be on the menu... but you can recreate! (My wife- self proclaimed Chick Fil A expert- says this is just as good)
Chick Fil A Honey Pepper Pimento Sandwich
Prep time: 15 minutes (additional 2+ hours for chicken to marinate)
Cook time: 20 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients
2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup pickle juice
2 tbs Tony’s
2 chicken breasts
1 cup flour
2 tbs powdered sugar
Hot honey
Pimento cheese
Pickled jalapeños
Brioche buns
Frying oil
Directions
Combine butter milk with pickle juice and 1 tbs of Tony’s
Cut chicken breast in half and beat it flat with a tenderizer. Place chicken in buttermilk mixture. Let marinade for atleast a couple hours.
Combine flour, powdered sugar, and 1 tbs of Tony’s in a bowl. Coat chicken in mixture.
Fry over medium to medium-high heat until golden brown and chicken reaches 165 degrees internal.
Toast brioche buns in pan. Place a few pickled jalapeños on bottom bun, followed by chicken. Then, drizzle with hot honey and spread some pimento cheese on top. Enjoy!
