Mac 'N Cheese

Potluck coming up? This Mac 'N Cheese will undoubtedly be everyone's favorite.




Mac 'N Cheese

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 40 minutes

Servings: 8-10


Ingredients

  • 1 tbs Tony Chachere’s original seasoning (or season to taste)

  • 1/2 block cream cheese

  • 1 lb cheddar cheese shredded

  • 1/4 lb Gouda cheese shredded

  • 8 strips of bacon diced

  • 1/4 cup flour

  • 3 cups milk

  • 1/2 cup panko

  • 16 oz macaroni noodles

Directions


  1. Preheat skillet to medium heat. Brown diced bacon. Remove all grease except a couple tablespoons.

  2. Add flour to bacon and grease to make a roux. Whisk in flour until browned.

  3. Add milk to skillet. Continue to whisk until at a simmer. Reduce heat to low and melt in cream cheese.

  4. Remove from heat and melt in one half of cheddar and Gouda cheese.

  5. Top with remaining cheese and panko.

  6. Broil in oven until cheese is melted and panko is browned. Enjoy!
