Grilled Salmon Florentine

Grilled Salmon Florentine


Ingredients


  • 4-6 salmon filets

  • 2 cups ricotta cheese

  • 1 cup shredded Italian cheese

  • 1 shallot, diced

  • 5 oz sauteed spinach

  • Tony Chachere's spice and herbs seasoning, seasoned to taste

  • Italian Season, seasoned to taste


Directions


  1. Preheat grill to 400 degrees.

  2. Prepare salmon stuffing. Combine diced shallot, sauteed spinach, ricotta, Italian cheese, 1 tbs of spice and herbs seasoning, and 1 tbs Italian seasoning. Stir to combine.

  3. Coat salmon with olive oil. Liberally season each salmon filet with spice and herbs seasoning as well as Italian seasoning.

  4. Cut a slit horizontally in each salmon filet. Fill filet with stuffing.

  5. Place on grill skin side down and grill for 10 minutes. Flip and grill for another 5-6 minutes. Remove from grill.
