The perfect gameday appetizer!
Hot Honey Chicken Sliders
Ingredients
2 cups flour
1/4 cup starch
Tony Chachere's Bold seasoning
2 cups buttermilk
1/4 cup pickle juice
2 eggs
1/2 cup honey
1 lb chicken breast
slider rolls of your choice
Directions
Start by making the marinade. Combine buttermilk, pickle juice, 1 tbs Tony Chachere's Bold seasoning, and two eggs in a mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
Cube chicken into 2-3" cubes. Place in marinade and let sit in fridge (for a few hours if possible).
Now for the breading- Add flour, corn starch, and 1 1/2 tbs Tony's Bold seasoning to a mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
Remove chicken from the marinade and coat in breading. Fry over medium high heat for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
Add honey to skillet with 1 tbs melted butter. Add 1 tbs Tony's bold seasoning and stir to combine. Continue to cook and stir for another minute or so. Add chicken to honey sauce. Toss until chicken is coated.
Assemble sliders using rolls. Add pickles if desired. Enjoy!
