Brown bottom potatoes
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 30 minutes
Servings: 4-6
Ingredients:
4 Russet potatoes
1/2 yellow onion
3 cloves garlic minced
Tony Chachere’s original seasoning to taste
4 tbs butter
Oil
Instructions:
Preheat flat top to medium heat. Drizzle oil on flat top.
Wash and dry potatoes. Cut in half lengthways and slice about 1/4 inch thick.
Place potatoes on flat top and season with Tony’s.
Spread potatoes out so that each slice is in contact with the flat top. Slice onion and place over potatoes after they have been cooking for a few minutes. Continue to cook potatoes until browned on bottom.
Flip potatoes and add butter. Continue to cook until potatoes are tender and onions are crunchy.
add minced garlic and cook for another minute or two. Remove from flat top and enjoy!
